three of my runs from the autocross in Bellingham. This is my 2nd, 4th, and 5th runs.. with the camera in different locations. The car’s engine is very quiet.. you can just barely here it in the 1st & 3rd clips here. By the end of the day I was down into the low 60 second range, but all of these runs are in the 62 second range. The car is a 2009 VW “Jetta” SportWagen TDI.. currently on stock software due to some other issues. It was on Dunlop Direzza Z1 ‘Star Spec’ tires, with Stasis/Koni Street Sport coilovers, and an H&R 24mm rear sway bar, along with StopTech Street Performance pads, GTI sized discs, stainless lines, and Motul fluid. The camera is a cheap refurbished Kodak M1033 from eBay, on a Panavise mount.
For those of you new to autocross, lifting a wheel while autocrossing a VW is completely normal, as demonstrated here by Mr. Lotts

Max’s 2002 VW Golf TDI during an autocross run at Central Florida’s Martin Sports Car Club (MSCC) December 13th, 2009 Autocross in Tavares, FL. The car before me is a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, and you can hear my friends debating whether the Evo IX or Evo X is better. Then they critique my driving as I come around. The car after me is a C5 Corvette Z06. Take a look for the black diesel smoke from my exhaust when I’m on the throttle! I ran in the SCCA SM class. My mods are: Sprint520 Injector Nozzles RocketChip Stage 2 Straight pipe cat-back exhaust H&R Sport Cup Kit 15″ OEM Avus wheels w/ shaved Toyo Proxes RA1 tires
