A “track day” (with time trial and relay race) by Connecticut Autocross and Rally Team (CART) at Pocono North on August 2009. Great event. Watch for my spin at about 1:30 in the video (a car spun in front of me). Most of the video is from my rear-facing camera (a “Flip” sold state camcorder). The car is my bone-stock ‘00 Miata daily driver (with top down all day….even during the heavier rains). I also own an AH Sprite vintage racer and I just sold my Ford Escort NASA racer (to fund another race car project). My regular web page is www.npmccabe.org
Stock 2.0T Track Genesis running SCCA G Stock. Fastest run of the day, this one earned me 1st in PAX Street Tire out of 18 cars. Gotta love that wicked GS handicap. =)

2009 SCCA Solo National Championships Music Video

Over 1200 drivers from across the United States converged at airpark in Lincoln, Nebraska for the 37th Annual SCCA Solo National Championships. The competition was tight with many of the top finishers in the 72 different classes separated by only thousandths of a second. Drivers, friends and family all had an extraordinary time and plans to return to Lincoln next year were met with wide applause and cheers.
