The most fun I’ve ever had in a car. I think the AWD in the snow this winter might be a little bit more fun =) For those who ask why I didn’t get an STI, do research on the swapped 2.5rs. You’ll see why. No offense to WRX and STI’s, I LOVE them too. Recorded with a Canon 5D. This event was hosted by the Capital Driving Club in Frederick, MD. It was a great experience, the racing, spectating and talking to the people there. www.capitaldrivingclub.com

Smooth run – Turbo Subaru powered Porsche 914 at the 3-21-10 PCA autocross

Jeff’s fastest run. We took the WRX powered 914 project out for its first autocross. The main purpose was to test the engine and tranny, and also to get an idea of what needs to be done with the suspension. We found out that the car understeers far too much, but the mechanicals worked flawlessly. It’s got an ej20t out of a 2003 Subaru WRX, running a little less boost than stock for now, until we can get it back on the dyno. The 5 speed subaru tranny was also swapped into the car.
