My NA6C vs. a Spec Miata. It was a lot of fun to say the least.
Chasing down an SM. Loving it. Also, I pulled my fastest lap during my last lap of this video clip. Filmed 5/1/2010. My NA’s performance mods to date (5/1/2010) for this film: 1. FM springs with KYB AGX (40k-miles, pretty much dead now). 2. Falken Azenis 195/60/14 on 14×6 OEM NA8C wheels 3. Jackson Racing high flow catalytic converter 4. Fujisubo RM-01A catback exhaust 5. 949Racing NA chassis braces 6. OEM NB8C Mazdaspeed Miata front and rear swaybars 7. 949Racing adjustable endlinks

Spec Miata / ITA – Willow Springs SCCA race weekend

Here are a few laps from each of my four races this past weekend… Two spec miata races and two ITA races. Surprisingly I managed to earn myself four podium finishes! Saturday: Finished 3rd in the Spec Miata race. Finished 3rd in the ITA race. Sunday: Again finished 3rd in the Spec Miata race. Again finished 3rd in the ITA race. So the 3rd place Spec Miata finishes weren’t much of an accomplishment… in addition to finishing 3rd I was also 2nd to last. That’s what I get in a 4 car field …

Here are several laps from my 3rd NASA race. I don’t have much racing experience (still on my rookie license) but still managed to qualify 15th out of 22 cars, and ended up finishing 15th. I lost 5th gear on the day before but still managed to do okay with only 4 gears. This race track is a ton of fun!
