Road Atlanta Pole Lap Spec Miata – May National 2012

Setting the pole lap in the draft behind Pat Sandlin and Jim Drago at the May 2012 Road Atlanta National. Unfortunately the radiator hose blows off and I almost spin in my own coolant. Could have been worse. Thanks to OPM for a great car build, Rossini Racing Engines for an awesome engine, Traqmate for the data, and Adept Studios for their assistance

This is THE most mental race I’ve had so far! Side by side everywhere (and not just because the other guy is blocking me, like in the past, but because we are really fighting), lead swaps, and one of the closest photo finishes in a while. Awesome race! See the start and then jump to 9′15″. After that it’s wheel to wheel all the way to the end.

Homestead Race with FARA 4-22-12, the last 20 minutes of the race were finished under caution due to the wreck you see in turn 10 on the last 2 laps.
