This is event 2 of 4 of the South Jersey SCCA Solo2 (autocross) Winter Series hosted by New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, New Jersey. The weather was much better then the first event, so everyone had alot more fun. Here are some runs of friends and other competitors that I put together from the event. The next even will be held on February 6th, 2010.

Jeff Kiesel EM KFR Turbo Sprite at El Toro 3/1/09. 1958 Bugeye Sprite built for solo2 E Modified class. The motor is a turbo charged 13brew rotary motor putting out 370 hp to the wheels. The car weighs 1810 pounds with driver. This car has won 7 national championships (2009,2008(EML also 2008),2007,2002,2001,1997) and 3 pro solo championships (2009,2008,2007). At this event it was Top PAX by over 1.3 sec out of over 240 entered. 74.4 sec run, also FTD even over the F125 shifter Karts….
CSCC autocross race at California Speedway, April 13th 2008. Running my ‘07 VW GTI in SK2. This is a prime example of how not to autox. I’m trying my best to force the car on line, but the tires just won’t have any of it. The result is understeer city. This was a tricky course that forced you to slow down to go fast. I didn’t and ended up with a high time and two cones. 67.407 +2
This is my 72 Chevelle at a Solo2 event. Believe it or not the car didn’t hit a cone on the run.
Pretty old video I rediscovered while looking through some old car video CDRs. I believe I originally d/l’d it from the Internet in 2002.
Basically, it’s a Fox-body 5.0 Mustang autocrossing in a tree-filled lot. The driver loses control and hits a tree. Hopefully this organization was able to find a safer, more user friendly, lot for their future autocross events.
