At PCA event on 9/18 Driver: LDadrenaline (LD Mendez)
Porsche 914 2.0L at the Arizona chapter Porsche Club of America (PCA) autocross on Oct 14th, 2007. This run turned out to be the fastest time of the day.
Took our Bad Penny project Camaro out to the Porche Club of America’s (PCA) autocross at the El Toro track.. the course was well over a mile long and we were hitting nearly 90 mph in sections. Bill Chin’s Camaro had an oil issue so I let him drive the ‘68 some so the car got a real workout. Doug from Global West has been helping tune the new suspension and we found that the car needs a bigger front swaybar to control push. Still, the car did great, ran hard all day and will be even better next time. Thanks to the PCA for putting on a killer event and to Doug and Bill for the help!

Had a really good time today, despite an electrical module failure that threatened to ruin my day. This video shows you some of the questions/comments I hear about the car. Looking forward to the next event! The noise in the background is the fuel pump doing its job

The local PCA club (Porsche Club of America) put on an autocross in Pomona. I though this would be the perfect opportunity to bring my 1991 GTI 16v out to an autocross for the first time. Autocrossing a 2001 Audi S8 at PCA potomac region autocross, May 25, 2008. Only 1 run, couldn’t find anyone to tape it before then. I believe it was a 72.0xx, less than 0.1 sec slower than my father in same car. If you watch closely I flatten a cone with my right rear near the end, I did not however knock it down or out of place so there was no 2sec penalty. Note I do not intend to autox the S8 any more, this was only to see how it performed and my 914 is currently inoperable. I believe this is the only S8 autocross video on Youtube! Sorry for the long info.
