Jeff Kiesel third run 67.674 at Qualcomm on 8/2/09. In the 2008 KFR Turbo Sprite….. We run Goodyear Formula Atlantic R175 tires….. This car has won 7 national championships (2009,2008(EML also 2008),2007,2002,2001,1997) and 3 pro solo championships (2009,2008,2007).

Autocross: 2009 SCCA Solo National Championship West course – Lotus Elise

My fastest run on the 2009 Sports Car Club of America Solo National Championship’s West course. Left a bunch of time on the course, primarily due to overcooking a few corner exits, which delayed my getting on the power. Sorry about the sound quality — I realized about an hour before running that I’d forgotten my microphone, so I used a pair of earbuds instead.

Jeff Kiesel EM KFR Turbo Sprite at El Toro 3/1/09. 1958 Bugeye Sprite built for solo2 E Modified class. The motor is a turbo charged 13brew rotary motor putting out 370 hp to the wheels. The car weighs 1810 pounds with driver. This car has won 7 national championships (2009,2008(EML also 2008),2007,2002,2001,1997) and 3 pro solo championships (2009,2008,2007). At this event it was Top PAX by over 1.3 sec out of over 240 entered. 74.4 sec run, also FTD even over the F125 shifter Karts….
This is a video from the Thunderhill Dbl National during the weekend of March 13-15. We were running in 3rd place with a VERY strong car, fast enough for a win but were crashed out less than half-way through the race. Very disappointed in the SFR Region racing.
