VIR Full Course — SCCA Spec Miata — Race Start + 2 laps — 28-Oct-2008 VIR is my favorite track. I’m qualified 6th. I’m a lousy qualifier — need someone to chase! Had a great race, but went off-track on the last lap battling for 2nd. Ended up finishing 5th. Car is a ‘92 Spec Miata 1.6L, still has glass in the doors, head-lights, heater, a crate motor, a trailer hitch for pulling a tire trailer, and a current license plate!

16 year old Josh Bilicki’s second time in a race car, and first time driving at Road America. Qualified 26th, but by the time the race ended he worked his way up to 17th out of a total of 31 cars. Thanks to Wild Graphics in Waukesha Wisconsin

16 year old Josh Bilicki’s 2nd time in a race car, and first time driving a car at Road America. Started 16th overall, and 5th in class, worked his way up to 2nd in class, then the alternator broke so the car started sputtering and he couldn’t finish the race. Myself driving the GT Malan at beaverun. This was taken on Saturday where the tires were still being worked in and I was till learning the car. So spins were common ;) Sunday the car ran much faster spun far less after a tire pressure change. Thanks to Dr. David Alan & Alan Autosports for being so generous and helpful with the car. And Gibby for working the camera!

Our version of a “Pro-Celebrity” race. With the Top 3 giving a 20 second gap to the main field. Its pretty calm for the 1st half, then it gets a little crazy! 16 year old Josh Bilicki running Spec Miata for the 2011 fall sprints. He qaulified 1st (his first pole postition ever), fell back to second, then third and was chasing down the 3rd place car when the rear end got away from him and he spun into the grass. Josh recovered and finished 4th in Spec Miata, and 5th overall.
