So I took the plunge and bought a Spec Miata. My motivatin was to put the GT3 aside for a while to learn on a cheaper momentum car. The GT3 is just soooo fast and expensive that I do not feel it is the right car to use as a learning tool. Ultimately I want to go back to the GT3, but only when I feel I have progressed enough as a driver. As it turns out this video is from my second track day with the car and I already feel I am trail braking much more than I was before. The Miata is very forgiving and truly is a fantastic (and cheap) platform to learn on. It was weird to leave for a track event and walk past my GT3 that stayed in the garage. However, I do look forward to getting back out with the Miata and continue to learn skills as a driver. Enjoy….
