I threw this together from some video my friend took. VW and Audi at autocross school/competition during Waterfest 12. Some of the shots that seem lame had nice sounds prior to upload. Content includes R32, 16v Rabbit, 2.0fsi Mk5 Gti, mk2 jetta, audi A4, MK2 VR6 Turbo
My 03 GLI VR6 Jetta, run #5 of the day, and fastest time for me. Stock except for Bilstein PSS coilover suspension, H&R 28mm front / 26mm rear sway bars, Bridgestone Potenza RE760 tires. Almost no body roll. This autocross was put on by the United Ford Owners (UFO) club, and the course was setup at the Columbus Motor Speedway on July 18, 2010.
January 2010 autocross event hosted my SCCA Buccaneer Region. 5/6 heat. Philly SCCA’s last event of the 2008 season. My 96′ Cobra has a BBK H pipe, Magnaflow Magnapacks, old and tired Tokiko Blues, a bunch of Maximum Motorsports springs, full length subframes, rack bushings, and 275 Toyo Proxes 4’s. Kristin’s 08′ Jetta is the 2 liter turbo Wolfsburg edition with DSG and is dead stock down to the terrible all season 225 width tires. Philly SCCA’s first event at Citizen’s Bank Park. Registration was limited to 100 cars and I gathered some very decent footage throughout the day when I wasn’t photographing the event which was my worker assignment.
