When I’m not busy working on music, I occasionally take my Miata out to the racetrack. Qualified 8th out of 21 cars and finished 5th!!

This is only her second run… ever. She picked it right up and did very well (Fastest Stock Lady for the day)! I told her to “Floor it!” and one point, knowing damn well it was a slick and off-camber turn and she was probably going to spin. I was proud to see her save it AND make it through the gate and avoid a DNF!!! Awesome job baby!

10/9/05 – Sports Car Club of America Fall Sprints Regional Race @ Blackhawk Farms Raceway, Rockton Illinois. This is what happens when you take your eyes off the road to open a can of Miller Genuine Draft… Not really, but I did take my eyes off the road for less than a second and the rest is history. Cold weather (October in Illinois) and icy grass do not help the car stop… Thank Gd for HANS device, as telemetry shows 37 to 0 mph in 1 frame…

The back end jumped out on me…trying to save it, I “bowled a spare” and a turn 14 barrel sticks to my car.
