My first run in a friend’s Elise. I was a bit surprised how heavy the steering was, so you can see me struggle with that a bit, especially when I get late in the slalom. Great car, but the driver needs some work!
My fastest run on the 2009 Sports Car Club of America Solo National Championship’s West course. Left a bunch of time on the course, primarily due to overcooking a few corner exits, which delayed my getting on the power. Sorry about the sound quality — I realized about an hour before running that I’d forgotten my microphone, so I used a pair of earbuds instead.
This is a video about my recent track day with my 2011 Ford Fiesta along with my impressions on the new Yokohama S.drive Performance Street Tires. The car ran exceptionally well, but you will have to watch the video to see how it did against some stiff competition!
