Came in 2nd this time to a fast 550RWHP Cobra on race tires… Fast course! Got to 93mph! This was my last run and my fastest, but definitely not my smoothest by any means. I was pushing the limits trying to beat the Cobra — Competition is a great motivator to get faster times as long as you don’t kill yourself! Hah! Cobra: 68.1 Me: 68.4 Overall excellent event. Placed 5th of 14 drivers in the local SK2 stock street tire class, but 2.3 seconds off the pace. Definitely need some seat time with this new setup as evidenced by my fun runs where I figured it out. My times in the fun runs were right on top of the class-winning times in the morning, so the setup is there, but it’s going to take a couple of events/practices to get used to.
