Josh Bilicki at Blackhawk Farms – 2011 Fall Sprints-Spec Miata Crash

16 year old Josh Bilicki running Spec Miata for the 2011 fall sprints. He qaulified 1st (his first pole postition ever), fell back to second, then third and was chasing down the 3rd place car when the rear end got away from him and he spun into the grass. Josh recovered and finished 4th in Spec Miata, and 5th overall.

Picking my way through a bit of mayhem at turn 1 at Carolina Motorsports Park (CMP). Looks to me that the white 1st-gen RX-7 (to camera’s left) tried to pull a late-braking hero move, clobbered the back of the orange Spec Miata, which in turn got into the back of the white 2nd gen RX-7. I ended up finishing 3rd in this race. (Spec Miata #25)

Race start and first lap at on the high bank roval of Rockingham (North Carolina Speedway). A few cars got squirrely going into turn one, but I think everybody made it through in one piece. I ended up with a hard-fought 4th in this race. (Spec Miata #25)
