The H-Team Dominates GoodGuys Costa Mesa Autocross

Hotchkis Performance’s H-Team dominated the 2010 GoodGuys Orange County Get Together autocross, with nearly a dozen cars, the first Mopar event win, the first three-class sweep, the first 2010 Camaro in GG competition and the first 3-car Mopar team. Plus our new C10 Chevy Pickup handles like a slot car in its second autocross competition.
Stock 2008 Cobalt SS. One of my best runs 58.8 seconds. 5th place out of 24 cars. only 3 seconds behind the leader in a Lotus Elise =D. Third fastest Stock Car. Only beat by a more experienced driver in a New Impreza STI By less than a second and the Elise. Beat out Corvettes, Mustangs, a suped up Skyline R33, etc…

2009 Corvette ZR1 supercharged at SCCA autocross

Not only was I lucky enough to see a ZR1 at the SCCA event today but I also got to ride along with Karen on her best lap of the day. She is a GM rep and this is her company car, not bad eh? And, she’s hot and can drive this car like a champ! 638hp and never even saw 2nd gear b/c it hits 65mph in 1st!!! What an awesome ride!

This video is from May 19th, 2001. I was participating in an autocross at the Miami Metro Zoo, which I believe was being sponsored by the Equipe Rapide sports car club. The car is a 1980 Camaro Z28, driven by me, which has since been sold. I sometimes really miss that car, but at the same time, happy its gone.

My first Autocross in my 1987 Chevy Corvette. Mods: 1996 ZF-6 speed transmission, spec stage 2+ clutch, spec aluminum flywheel, Hooker super comp ceramic coated headers, 3 inch exhaust no cats, 52mm TPIS throttle body, ultrashield deluxe road racing seat, 2 6 point cam lock harnesses, 1 3/4 inch 120 gauge mandrel bent roll bar, some other stuff.
