I’ve always loved cars growing up and dreamed about becoming a race car driver. This is year I made that dream become my reality. I bought a track ready miata and had a LOT of fun doing HPDEs (High Performance Driving Events). Fred Beck autocrossing in his BMW 2002, chased by a police cruiser with lights and siren. He has to slow down every so often to let the cop catch up.

The car has just gotten off my friend’s first session, so the tires and engine are pretty much ready to go. By chance, I just happened to grid behind an NB Spec Miata racecar.
My thoughts in the car while on grid: “Ooo…this will be fun…”
