2005 Mazdaspeed Miata turbo autocrossing big sideways slide

This was at a TAMSSC “test and tune” autocross. I lost the back end and went pretty sideways all the way through the turn at the middle. I loved that car, it was truely a go-kart with 235whp at just over 2300lbs.
Finally dug up this old clip of my first WRX with me Autocrossing when I owned it. I managed to win my class that season 
I wasn’t expecting to run my car today but I couldn’t resist. I did one lap at the track during thier “fun run”. The Procharger really makes it unpredictable. Lots of fun though.
It’s the Autocross event held in Bangalore by Team46 where many participated and had some thrilling experience… Here’s a preview… Enjoy!

(I had done autocross here once before maybe a year ago) Even with track experience, autocross is a completely different experience. The car is constantly being tossed around, and with stock suspension and my daily driver tires (which are apparently almost dead), my car feels like a cow in a shopping cart. Not sure if I’m going to try to compete in Tire class or in ASP. I’ll probably double enter so I get double the runs and more experience. 2011 FSAE West Autocross Onboard – University of Washington Car #3 Josh Pu’u

These are the autocross runs driven by Josh Pu’u for the University of Washington’s FSAE team at 2011 FSAE West.
My first autoX in the 350z. I lose it a bit in the second lap but after deflating the tire a bit more the traction improved. Overall I dropped 8 seconds from the first lap of the day to the best lap of the day.
