MVP Track Time Road America 2011 – Session 1 – 1991 Miata

Here is the first session on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the MVP Track Time track day at Road America. We were in the intermediate group. Taking it easy for this first session to check everything out, read below. It was a shake down for the car. This is the first event after doing a complete suspension overhaul; installing V8 Roadsters tubular control arms and a Spec Miata suspension kit. These are the last part of the suspension upgrade, and complement the Wilwood big brake kit that was installed last year and the Toyo R888 tires on Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 wheels. Managed to get the pole for race and led until about halfway point, when Matt McBride caught and passed me. We traded positions a few more times until he took the lead for good. Congrats Matt! Great race!
