My 1st Autocross, driving a stock 1991 Miata street tires, E class Came 6th out of 10 competitors 
best run: 54.069 (second run)

do you need powersteering to be any good? my miata(97!) doesnt have power steering and it seems like itd be hard to do this without power steering…

hey i got a 95 stock miata, i wanna go to autocross too. but im scare im gonna take out many cones and ppl are gonna get mad at me ..

good job, autox is real fun. I did 2 events in 05, had no working car last summer and currently drive a 93 accord, so I can use it but the suspension is worn out and I dont want to waste money upgrading it.
So i”ll have to qait till I get a better car.
anyways you’re lucky. I finished DEAD last in all classes out of 180 people in both events!
I drove very agressively in my mr2 and you need to be smooth to be fast, and I kept DNFing since I had trouble remembering the course.
